We’re getting married… in Mexico! And we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with all of you—our favorite people.
Our journey has taken us from the beaches of California to the heart of Texas, and now to the shores of Punta de Mita. Along the way, we've shared a lot of laughs, a few moves, and countless adventures. One of the things we’re most excited about is bringing our California and Texas crews together. It means the world to us to have everyone in one place, finally getting to meet, mingle, and celebrate together!

About Us
It all started in Laguna Beach over coffee at Urth Caffé in October 2019. Afterward, we took a walk down to the beach, just talking and getting to know each other. That’s when it happened—a stranger walked by and let out a bizarre cough-bark that startled Lauren so badly she grabbed Chris’s arm. We were both shocked for a second… and then completely cracked up. That unexpected moment kind of set the tone for everything that came next: spontaneous, real, and full of laughter.
Our second date was a ride on Chris’s motorcycle to get ice cream—and that’s where we shared our first kiss. From there, our story became one of love, growth, and navigating life’s complexities together.
When Chris moved to Texas and Lauren stayed in California, we tried doing long distance. We broke up a couple of times—not because we didn’t want to be together, but because we were in different chapters of life. Lauren dreamed of having kids of her own, while Chris was already a dad of two.
Eventually, Lauren realized what her heart truly wanted: to be with Chris and to be part of his children’s lives. That was enough—more than enough.
In 2023, Lauren moved to Texas to be with Chris and the kids, and life has only gotten better. We’re both sober, best friends, and adventure partners. Whether we’re skiing and snowboarding, jet skiing, riding dirt bikes, or flying in Chris’s plane, we love doing life together.
Then, on Valentine’s Day 2025, while skiing in Colorado with snow falling all around us, Chris proposed. Lauren didn’t realize what was happening at first and kept interrupting him mid-speech—until it hit her. Through laughter and surprise, she said yes.
This is our story—full of love, resilience, and joy. And the best part is just beginning.

Sand Terrace and Beach Garden Wooden Deck
Our wedding ceremony will take place on the Sand Terrace, overlooking the beautiful beach. After we say “I do,” enjoy refreshing cocktails and appetizers on the Beach Garden Wooden Deck just steps away, while we take our first photos as newlyweds. Dinner and dancing will follow on the same deck, with stunning views of the ocean to close out the evening.
